On the heels of a successful 2017 conference, the ASCA has announced Hilton Head Island will be the location for its 2018 Executive Summit.

Then annual event, scheduled for Aug. 1-3, will take place at the Sonesta Resort, located at the southern tip of Hilton Head Island.

“After doing considerable due diligence on where to stage the 2018 Executive Summit the planning committee came to the unanimous decision that Hilton Head and the Sonesta Resort we the idea place to hold our event,” says ASCA Executive Director Kevin Gilbride. “Not only is Hilton Head known as a family-friendly destination, but the Sonesta Resort provides attendees with all the amenities for a successful conference.”

ASCA Executive Summit is an annual conference focused on the business needs of the snow industry. Every year, the ASCA bring in dynamic speakers to discuss the industry and how professional snow and ice managers can improve their businesses. The conference is much more than learning how to plow snow. The three-day educational and networking event addresses the business management topics that every business faces, including how to better communicate with employees, increase the bottom line, and reaching customers.

This year the ASCA and Snow Magazine held the popular industry conference in Park City, Utah, following the trend of alternating between the beach and mountain locations.
“Park City and The Wasatch Range was a wonderful departure from the tropical Florida beach setting,” Gilbride says. “Bringing it back to the beach in 2018 – especially to Hilton Head – will provide opportunities for contractors to wish to attend to bring their families along, as well, to take advantage of the family vacation-like atmosphere. Frankly, it would surprise me to set an Executive Summit attendance record in 2018.”

Hilton Head Island was recently named the No. 1 island in the continental U.S. by Travel + Leisure.

Registration details will be announced in the coming weeks.
